On the Road Again

The Rocky Mountains in October and November? Sure! We each wanted to attend a painting class, mine in Canmore, Alberta and Jean’s in Denver, Colorado. Therefore we decided to join them with a week in Yellowstone, 4 days in Jackson Hole, and end with a couple of weeks with Pat, Jean’s sister, in Colorado Springs. Six weeks in the mountains!

Our first mountain crossing was uneventful…just a little sleet on the windows. We arrived in Canmore to blue skies and sunshine. It is nice to be on the east side of the rockies. Here are a few photos from around Canmore.

About Paul

I'm retired, but working at painting, photography, and song writing. We like to travel and paint plein air in new places. Of course that's also where photography comes into the picture, so to speak. Sometimes I get inspired to write songs about the people and places we visit.

So glad you two are having fun once again in your little Picasso.
Jean, do you have a cell ##? I just want to reconnect with you. I’m having my other knee replacement on Tuesday then my back is next. LOL Carolyn.

Greetings from Pareeeeee, France where we do not have such bucolic landscapes. Life here is hard, the French are basically unhappy; they all need a week-end in as enchanting a place as the place you enjoy now. Thank you for the pixes; they are lovely. I hope that paintings are coming out of this adventure. With or without paintings, I am sending a big hug to you both. JP
