Padilla Bay

Today we took a day trip to Padilla Bay in Skagit County. It is a bit early to see our wintering Snow Geese and Tundra Swans, but who can resist a nice walk on a warm sunny day?

Of course we stopped for lunch at La Conner Brewing Co.

A great autumn day!

About Paul

I'm retired, but working at painting, photography, and song writing. We like to travel and paint plein air in new places. Of course that's also where photography comes into the picture, so to speak. Sometimes I get inspired to write songs about the people and places we visit.

Wow! What a surprise to see your name pop up! It’s good to hear from you. Yes, we are doing well. I will put you and Tom on my “Friends Afield” list. For the past 5+ years I have been sending out a music video once a week. Watch for it.

thanks for the reply, will look forward to hearing the music. Tom is in a memory care facility here in Bellingham, so the tunes will be mine alone, unfortunately.

What lovely photos you took during your outing. Thank you for sharing. For the moment we have not been out of our condo. The beauty of it is that it is over the sea and with luck we witness delightful sunrises. Everyday this time, there has been clouds to prevent the sun from rising in all its glory, so I have no picture to share at this point. What a shame! Thank you again for sharing the pixes. JP
