One of our recent days took us to Jardin des Plantes, a large park that includes natural history museums, a zoo, and marvelous gardens. It is a wonderful place to stroll, watch people, look at the beautiful flowers, walk long shaded tree-lined lanes, and sit on a bench to enjoy a bag lunch. It’s about a 2 mile walk from our apartment.
We only visited some of the gardens and took hundreds of photos. Here is a small sample of some of mine. Lots of inspiration for paintings here.

I want some of those plants for my garden! Love the pictures as you camera takes such clear and bright photos which are spectacular to view even thousands of miles away! With the walk and beautiful pictures, making an assumption that the weather is cooperating with you right now. We are having a stretch of nice weather ourselves so able to work away on landscaping and building. Will see if I can post new pictures on facebook this weekend-not sure the new hard drive has picutre reading capability but will check that out. BTW–back to cheerful self again! Miss you guys and still hope you are having the best time ever!
