Why Travel?

A friend sent me this link to a lovely poem about travel and I am compelled to share it with fellow travelers.

Enjoy,

Paul

About Paul

I'm retired, but working at painting, photography, and song writing. We like to travel and paint plein air in new places. Of course that's also where photography comes into the picture, so to speak. Sometimes I get inspired to write songs about the people and places we visit.

  2. ANNE CARR says:

    Hi Paul
What a lovely poem from an Irish man from the Burren area, of County Clare on the beautiful West Coast of Ireland. Am reading one of John’s books at the moment “Anam Cara” and then “Eternal Echoes” is waiting on my bookshelf.

    • Paul says:

      Anne,
Thanks for the additional information. I knew he was an Irish priest, but didn’t know what part of Ireland he was from. I will look for his other writings as well. The poem really struck a chord.
      Paul
