We scooted back from Canada as much as one can rush with a two day drive. The return trip was different from eastward bound. We came back via Rogers Pass and Kamloops. Then we ignored the Highway 5 speedy bypass out of Kamloops in favor of the original TransCanada Highway 1 down the Fraser River Canyon. It was a pleasant two days with beautiful mountains and friendly pikas.
We arrived back in time to make it to the opening of the Olympia Art League show that includes my painting, Yucca. Now we’re getting ready for the next trip…a camping trip in Picasso to Mt. Baker. No time to rest or write more.
