First Beach…La Push, Washington

We arrived at La Push Friday afternoon. This is Picasso’s first trip of 2014.  It has been sunny, warm, and sublime. Hiking, sketching, and painting during the three longest days of the year. Today a sunbow was an omen for weather changes. Here are some photos.

About Paul

I'm retired, but working at painting, photography, and song writing. We like to travel and paint plein air in new places. Of course that's also where photography comes into the picture, so to speak. Sometimes I get inspired to write songs about the people and places we visit.

  1. Jean-Paul Dumont says:

Thank you for sharing the maritime beauties of the great NW. It is a wild coast and you seem to have great weather. Your first trip of 2014? Nonsense, what about Vancouver island, unless the island came to you, you travelled there, did you not? And suddenly it dawns on me that Picasso does not refer to your blog but to your motor vehicle, and then it comes back to me slowly, slowly. At any rate, you will have no excuse if you do not produce anything gorgeous after such an experience. See you soon.
