Kauai

Safely arrived in Kauai today, lounged around the resort, watched the Seahawks game, and cooked a tasty dinner of fresh Mahi Mahi.

Here are some photos on our lanais.

Chickens are everywhere! This rooster and his harem seem to like our lanai.

Tomorrow Waimeia Canyon!

About Paul

I'm retired, but working at painting, photography, and song writing. We like to travel and paint plein air in new places. Of course that's also where photography comes into the picture, so to speak. Sometimes I get inspired to write songs about the people and places we visit.

Well, it looks pretty idyllic to me. You mean you can’t escape football games on Kauai? Dangit! John got very carsick on our trip up through the Waimeia Canyon. We were staying in a very cute Plantation Cottage near there. Charming. John and I just made reservations to visit Boston in March. Now the fun and anticipation of planning. Gluttons meeting here in Olympia on Wednesday. We’ll all miss Jean.

Hello out there at the antipodes. I love the middle pixture, the close up on the red flower with vegetation. Very nice. I am glad to read that you even seem to enjoy yourself.
Here in France, we live a great moment of solidarity with many foreign chiefs of state who came to give a hand. It is rather moving.
    As always,
