Napali Coast Cruise

Yesterday afternoon we took a dinner cruise along the Napali Coast. Great food, humpback whales, porpoises, booby birds, and albatross framed beautiful views of this rugged coastline while we swayed in 10 foot seas. That’s why the horizon is askew in some photos.

A great day. I slept for 10 hours!

About Paul

I'm retired, but working at painting, photography, and song writing. We like to travel and paint plein air in new places. Of course that's also where photography comes into the picture, so to speak. Sometimes I get inspired to write songs about the people and places we visit.

All that seems nice except I do not know whether I would be hungry in rough seas. The funny part is that your pictures do not show big waves. I have no clue as to what booby birds might be. Sea life seems abundant around there so I suppose you also enjoyed good sea food. Waiting for the next installment!

Oh my! I have just returned from what seems to be an annual visit to friends in a very rural area of the Big Island near the lava flow. They are not near the coast so very little like this. Very special.
