The Fourth Day of Jean’s Birthday Celebration

I spent a good part of today scoring new arrangements for Home Cookin’. These were songs I had been experimenting with and thinking about. I finally got to a point where I thought I could write them out. As a result I completed two new arrangements and got about halfway on a third.

Jean did some sketching and we both read. Then in the late afternoon we took a long walk on the beach before sunset. (Actually it’s not so late this time of year!)

And thus ends another day at the beach.

About Paul

I'm retired, but working at painting, photography, and song writing. We like to travel and paint plein air in new places. Of course that's also where photography comes into the picture, so to speak. Sometimes I get inspired to write songs about the people and places we visit.

There is definitely something to be said for these leisurely activities and contemplations. Are you sure you will readjust to living in the turmoils of the city? At any rate, enjoy.
