Long Beach Washington

We spent last week in Long Beach. It was very stormy, but that is part of the appeal to visiting here in the winter. The waves are incredible. The storms roll in off the Pacific. And we had a ring side seat. We usually found a dry hour each day to walk on the dunes.

About Paul

I'm retired, but working at painting, photography, and song writing. We like to travel and paint plein air in new places. Of course that's also where photography comes into the picture, so to speak. Sometimes I get inspired to write songs about the people and places we visit.

Jean wrote about her birthday trip to Long Beach at the last Wallingford Women Writers Zoom meeting. We heard about the storms, and also how you always make her birthday a special occasion, especially because it’s so close to Christmas. Thanks for adding these photos to her words.

Thank you for the posting and happy Xmas to you. I finally asked GoogleMaps where the heck was Long Beach WA located and now wondered how you reached that site. I was duly impressed finally to meet Mr Clark; I would have a few questions for him, but always felt too shy to ask.
    With love, JP
