Tomorrow morning we hit the road to the Canadian Rockies. This is a painting trip. We will be staying most of the time at our timeshare condo in Canmore, outside of Banff National Park. The Three Sisters in this photo right behind our condo. If we’re on that side of the building this is our view.

I will be taking a 5-day intensive oil painting workshop with Liz Wiltzen. Jean will be exploring the painting delights of the area. Then we will spend a week together painting at will.

This is not our first visit to Canmore and will not be our last. The Canadian rockies are spectacular. Everywhere you turn there’s a new painting. However, my five day intensive is in the studio. I’ll have to wait to get outdoors.
