We arrived back home this afternoon. There were no further posts on the camping trip because I couldn’t get a connection. The first day must have been perfect atmospherics for cell phone waves or something. After that I got no signal.
The rally was great fun. About 100 people, 45 trailers, and 50 dogs. We had six guitars, an autoharp, a dulcimer, two ukeleles, harmonicas, three percussion boxes, a washboard/percussion instrument, a clog dancer, and lots of singers for our musical evenings. In addition to music the Saturday talent show featured poetry reading, karate demonstration, dog tricks, painting, jokes, and much more! It proved to be a fantastic time.
Here are a couple photos of the beautiful plants in this park. They attracted my attention as objects to paint. The park manager was the groundskeeper at Point Defiance Park for many years and has brought his talents to Taidnapam Park to add some domesticated beauty to this wilderness.
I love the two beautiful pixes of plants that illustrate your latest entry.
You seem to have had a wonderful time, although I have not fully grasped where the event took place.
Love to both of you, JP
Sounds like an excellent time! Hope Jean’s arm is behaving a little better. Myself, it’s little by little. Saw the doc today to get my stitches out – he says my knee is still “hot”, lots of fluid yet to be absorbed but ligaments are fine. Prescribed more icing and frequent lay downs. The cat agrees. Cheers, ace
